Justin Pritikin began his camp journey at Liberty Lake as a 2-year-old Turtle camper, spending his childhood helping with open houses, tours, and office projects alongside his sister. In sixth grade, he began a seven-year battle with leukemia — an experience he later shared in his inspiring TED Talk about resilience and finding joy in life’s challenges.
At Villanova University, Justin served as a student manager for Hall of Fame coach Jay Wright’s basketball team, learning valuable lessons in leadership and teamwork. He also led the world’s largest Special Olympics fundraiser, both virtually in 2020 and in-person in 2021.
In his final semester of college, Justin became a sales associate at lululemon, and was quickly elevated to an executive role at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles. Despite enjoying his work (and wardrobe), his heart remained in camping. He returned east to become a Director at Everwood Day Camp, Liberty Lake’s sister camp in Massachusetts, where he oversaw staff development, training, programming, and special events.
Today, Justin is a sought-after trainer and facilitator in the camp industry, speaking at conferences, on podcasts, and working with camp staffs across North America.
