Transportation

AT LIBERTY LAKE, WE BUILD COMMUNITY + CHARACTER

Your child’s day at Liberty Lake Day Camp might begin and end with bus transportation, a service included in your tuition payment for most central express bus stop locations. Please don’t assume transportation to and from Liberty Lake is a boring, mundane experience. Even with no electronics we use our camp-wide Spirit Events Calendar to create a FUN weekly program made especially for the bus ride.

Camp Begins on the Bus! Most of the Counselors riding the buses are former Liberty Lake campers. They will start your child’s morning with games, music, contests, prizes, and even scavenger hunts. By the time the buses roll into our parking lot, the kids are singing and shouting camp cheers. They compete for the coveted ‘Bus Spirit Trophy’, awarded weekly to the bus who demonstrates the most enthusiasm, participation, and safety awareness.

Safety First. We work with a professional bus company to ensure our pick-up and drop-off system runs efficiently and on time. Pick-up times generally range between 8-8:30am in the morning and between 4:15-5pm in the afternoon. Designated Central Express Transportation bus stops at shopping centers, schools, and parks in your vicinity/town are selected based on the most populous locations of our Liberty Lake families. Please see the link below for details. If meeting the bus at a designated stop isn’t possible, please call the office.

Safety is our primary concern when transporting your child to and from Liberty Lake. All bus drivers are professionals – this is their full time job. They are drug tested, possess a School Bus CDL (license) and their driving-safety records are carefully monitored by the Department of Transportation. Our drivers have years of experience transporting local school kids during many challenging scenarios, including bad weather, rush-hour traffic, and the high-noise output of happy campers having a great time!

Seatbelts, GPS, and Security cameras installed on the buses ensure an additional level of precaution regarding children’s behavior during the bus ride. Each bus is supervised by at least one Liberty Lake Bus Captain. Our Bus Captains to attend additional bus-duty training before our camp season starts.

Your child’s time on the bus is an extension of camp life, we make it count. We do all we can to ensure our campers enjoy the ride!
