Here at Liberty Lake, we have many different activities: more than 60 to choose from. Being able to chose your own electives is beneficial at many angles.
Electives are beneficial to learning. When you chose something new, you learn more. For example, in sign language you learn to speak in a different language, therefore, making you smarter.
When you choose your own electives, you can make friends based on your interests. Another example is if you like baseball, you can make a friend in that elective. You can also make more friends by choosing electives you wouldn’t normally choose. You might like sports but choose a music elective. You could meet a person you would not normally meet.
In conclusion, being able to choose your own electives is beneficial for many reasons. What is your view on electives?
