Boom is what Marie Luckmant heard on November 9th, 1972. Marie, the maid of Gabby, assumed it was nothing but went upstairs to make sure Gabby was okay. As she came upstairs, she felt the cold Chicago wind on her back. She walked into Gabby’s room, and there she was, Gabby Jackson, lifeless, just laying dead on the floor. Marie panicked, rached for the phone, and called the police. As soon as Marie knew it, the police were already there and turned the house into an active crime scene.

3 hours before…

Gabby was in her room getting ready for her party. As guests started arriving, Gabby went downstairs and put cocktails in front of the guests. As they all thanked Gabby, she realized her cocktail was gone, so she went to make herself a new one. When she got back, her cocktail was back, so she let it go and started drinking her first cocktail. After awhile, she started feeling dizzy, but Gabby brushed it off as a headache. Gabby took an Advil to relieve the pain, though after awhile, her head was hurting more. Gabby snuck upstairs to lay down. She laid down and fell asleep. Crash… is what Gabby woke up to 2 hours later. As Gabby listened, it was silent downstairs except for Marie curing out because she dropped a piece of china. Or at least that’s what Gabby thought. As Gabby got up from bed and stood up, she started feeling dizzy once again. Then all of a sudden – boom – Gabby dropped to the floor.

Present day…

Is she alive? Is she alive? Marie asked very impatiently. The detective with an annoyed look on his face replied with, “We can’t give out many details, but I’m sorry to say, your friend, she has passed.” As this information passed through Marie’s head, she fell to the ground crying as if Gabby was like the daughter Marie never had. “Oh Ma’am” Detective Liam said as he turned around to face Marie. Marie looked up and Liam started talked once again, “Marie Luckmant, this is a murder and we believe you did it.”

What?” replied Marie, “For all we know, it could have been you, Liam,” Marie told Liam.

“You know what? Go downstairs.”

“Fine,” argued Marie.

As Marie walked downstairs, there was an officer there. She looked at him and said, “Look for fingerprints. How do you know it wasn’t Liam?”

As the officer got annoyed and walked upstairs, the other officer there told Liam to go downstairs to look for more evidence.

30 minutes later…

“Officer Keith, I found some evidence,” nervously said Liam.

“Good job. What did you find?” replied Keith.

Liam explained how he went downstairs and he found Marie. Her throat was cute, and she was bleeding out. She was dead. As everyone ran downstairs, they found a trail of blood leading to the kitchen, and there she was, Marie, just laying on the floor. As they cleaned up the blood and brought Marie to the hospital, everyone knew she was gone. Because of the deaths of both Marie and Gabby, the Chicago police decided to go back to the crime scene to find more evidence. At first they thought Marie was the killed because when and if Gabby dies, her fortune would go to Marie, but now they’re not sure. As they reached the crime scene, they found a half drunk cocktail in the alleged spot Gabby was sitting the night of the murder. They took the glass and tested the liquid and also tested the glass for fingerprints. The Chicago Police thought they got all the evidence they needed. As days passed with no results of the fingerprints or the cocktail, they finally got the results. As the text reads below, there was bleach in Gabby’s drink, a big enough amount to kill a giraffe. So now they have a murder weapon. Now to open the fingerprint results. As read below, there were finger prints of Liam Bell, Marie Luckmant, and Gabby Jackson.

“Umm, Liam?” asked Keith.

“Fine, I’ll tell you the truth. I made Gabby’s drink, but I promise I did not put bleach in that drink.”

“Okay Liam, we all believe you,” agreed the Chicago Police.

“Okay, well, I’m going to go home,” anxiously replied Liam.

This was very weird of Liam because he usually stays in the office longer than everyone else. As everyone started leaving, Keith has suspicions of Liam.

7 hours later…

As day arrive, Keith got a search warrant to go through Liam’s apartment. When Keith got there, he knocked and knocked on the door, but there was no reply. Keith got ready to kick open the door, then he ran. Bang! The door flew wide open. After hours of searching, Keith found a lot. First off, Keith found a can of bleach and he also found a knife with Marie’s blood on it.

Marie kept saying, “Oh, how do you know Liam didn’t kill Gabby,” and as a result of that, Liam killed both Marie and Gabby. Liam’s friends and family member were very shocked. When Liam went to court, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
