The Demodog

It’s a normal day at camp, and like always, Lucy is late. When she arrived she put her bag in the changing tent and runs to the meeting spot really excited because it’s the girls’ overnight, and she can’t wait to talk about it with her best friend Julie. But Julie is not there, and that is very peculiar because Julie loves sleepovers.

There was a phone in the office, so Lucy called Julie’s mom and asked if Julie was home. But Julie wasn’t!

Lucy was worried, so when the counselors weren’t looking, Lucky snuck into the woods.

After three whole hours, she finally found Julie, but she was a demodog! Lucky knew this because it had Julie’s bracelet. Lucy heard a crack. Boom! Could it be another monster? Nope! It was Julie and the rest of Lucy’s friends. They explained everything and said it was a prank. The demodog was CGI, so Lucy and Julie went back. But when it became night, the demodog became Julie, and the fake Julie turned into a demodog. It was looking for someone to take to the Other Side. It hadn’t found anyone yet, so it needed to discard of Lucy and her friends.

The fake Julie froze when she was walking with Lucy, and her friends and transformed into a demodog. They ran with Lucy in the lead. As she ran ahead, she heard screams from  her friend and got distracted. Lucy tripped into the soccer net, and the real Julie started running to help Lucy. But the demodog got there first.

Lucy screamed, and Julie, frozen with fear, watched. 

Now when you trip during soccer, the demodog will eat you next!
