Our Culture

Camp Culture
Every summer, our staff are entrusted with the most precious task imaginable: caring for other people’s children. Liberty Lake takes that responsibility seriously and maintains an environment that encourages safe fun, healthy risks, and reinforces a growth mindset.

It’s our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. We provide an enjoyable and exciting experience that inspires campers to approach life with the same enthusiasm, confidence and character that they have at camp. We build better people!

We’re Different
Liberty Lake Day Camp is not like any other Summer Camp in the world. The more you learn about us, the more you’ll understand why…

Here’s what staff is saying about working at Liberty Lake:

“Thank you…for giving me such an amazing opportunity this summer! I’ve had so much fun the last 8 weeks and I’m extremely grateful that I was able to work with such great people. Even though this was my first year at camp…I’ve made real lifelong friends here. I’ve even learned good leadership skills I can use in the future. I hope I get to return next year and have the best summer ever again!”

–Jaiden D, Burlington

“Thank you so much for allowing me to have this amazing experience of joining the Liberty Lake team this summer. I was warned to be prepared for sadness on my last day, but I was still truly caught off guard by how much I loved this summer – and this job. It was such a pleasure to have gotten to know my campers and coworkers, and thanks to this opportunity, I have made so many connections and friendships.”

-Yohanna B, Browns Mills

“I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for hiring me, for giving me a place in your wonderful family, for making me feel welcome. It’s been a while since I’ve been happy to wake up in the morning, since I felt like I belong somewhere…I truly feel like I’ve found my happy place at LLDC and I will forever be coming back….It’s nice to feel like I belong and to know the support I have. You guys absolutely rock!

-RJ, Philadelphia

“…I know I have said this a million times, but I am extremely happy and honored to work for you! By being part of the Liberty Lake family I learned the values of commitment, responsibility, empathy, and many many other attributes that have allowed me to be extremely successful so far at school and my other job. Thank you for giving me that opportunity!”
