LIBERTY LAKE DAY CAMP 2026 IMPORTANT STAFF DATES  as of 12/15/25

CAMP SEASON:  Monday, June 22 through Friday, August 21 (Camp Closed Friday, July 3) 

ALL meetings IN-PERSON, unless noted.  Please put these dates into your calendar now

 

General Staff Trainings 

  • June 2 ~ 4 to 8:30pm  “ROOKIE” Training  – For ALL NEW employees
  • June 3~ 4:30 to 7:30pm - NEW SPECIALIST + ALL ACTIVITY LEADERS Training
  • June 4 ~ 4 to 8:30pm “RETURNER” Training– For Returning Group Staff, LGs, & Specialists
  • June 7 ~ 10:00 to 5:30pm  – ALL TEAM Training – Everyone!
  • Extended Day Training: 5:45-7pm, including pizza
  • June 11h ~ 4 to 8:30pm , Group Team Training – Group Leaders/Counselors/Inclusion/DLs
  • June 16 ~ 4 to 8pm –TEAM TRAINING/ MEET ‘N’ GREET – GLs/Counselors/Inclusion/DLs

 

Aquatics Team 

  • May 29, 30, 31 ~ Fri. (4-8pm), Sat. & Sun. (8am-4am) –Lifeguard CERTIFICATION Class- – full: 3 days. Waterfront:1 day (Sunday), recert-1 day (TBD)
  • June 10 (New) ~ 4:30 to 7:30pm , SWIM INSTRUCTOR Training–Swim Staff/GLs/Cs
  • June 14 ~ 9 to 4pm, Lifeguard Training– ALL Lifeguards 
  • June 18 (All Swim Instructors) ~ 4 to 8pm SWIM INSTRUCTOR Training–Swim Staff/GLs/Cs
  • June 14 & 20 – 10am-12noon- Optional Swim Testing for PK-4th + Inclusion

 

High Ropes Adventure

  • TBD,  High Ropes Adventure CERTIFICATION - All Ropes staff + Interested GLs,Sps
  • TBD, - High Ropes Adventure CERTIFICATION – Final Day

 

Bus Captain Training 

  • June 16 –  1:30-3:30pm, BUS CAPT. Training – Staff on Bus;  Attend ONE
  • June 17 ~ 4-6pm, BUS CAPT. Training – Staff on Bus;  Attend ONE training
  • Make-Up Training, last chance- 6/20 @ 3-5pm

 

Leadership Team (DLs, ADLs, HCs, etc.) Trainings – all 5-8:30pm 

  • April 9 - NEW Leadership 101 Training  (new leadership) 
  • April 30 - Leadership Team (All Admin) Training #1  (all leadership) 
  • May 12 – Leadership Team (TBD) Training #2   (outdoor supervisory staff) 
  • May 26 - Leadership Team (TBD) Trainings  #3  (outdoor supervisory staff) 
  • June 9 - Leadership Team (TBD) Trainings #4  (outdoor supervisory staff) 

 

IN-SEASON

  • June 25 (Thursday. Wk.1) – 4:30-6:30pm (with pizza)  Specialist & Activity Leader regroup

  • July 10, 4 to 9pm   – Soph Survival Late Night:
  • Wilderness Skills Overnights / Late Stay
    • July 10 – after camp, SOPHS Late Stay – Week 3
    • July 17 – after camp- GIRLS OVERNIGHT: Friday/Saturday – Week 4
    • August 7 – after camp- BOYS OVERNIGHT:Friday/Saturday – Week 7
  •  July 23-24 – LIT Overnight/Retreat
  • ** August 5 (rain date 8/6) ~ 5-8pm ~ FAMILY NIGHT  
  • August 11, 6-9pm – Senior/Teen Semi-Formal
